The Department of Neurosurgery, the Oregon Brain Institute and the Global Health Center all launched new websites on Tuesday, February 3.

The Department of Neurosurgery specializes in the comprehensive neurosurgical treatment of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system.  The department's newly redesigned website provides enhanced access to information on neurological conditions, patient services, and current academic programs.

The Oregon Brain Institute conducts complex and innovative neuroscience research that is translated into high-quality healthcare and community information for the people of Oregon.  While visiting this OBI, also check out the newly launched Brain Awareness site, which offers fascinating facts about the brain and how to keep it healthy.  The site also highlights ten years of Brain Awareness activities and includes links to information and events surrounding "Brain Awareness 2009".

The Global Health Center was formed in 2007 to draw attention to the needs of resource-poor communities around the world.
