OHSU's software falls into two categories – supported and partially supported software.
Supported Software
Supported software can be downloaded for free from the Software Download Center (but it is likely already on your computer).
Help with supported software
- The Help Desk (4-2222) will answer beginner's questions
- Trainers will answer questions after you've taken a class
- Free classes and online learning are often available
- Check the OHSU software forum
- A user group may exist

Partially-supported software
Partially supported software is either site-licensed or volume licensed.
- Site licensed: Can be downloaded for free, and is likely already on your computer. Click the name to download.
- Volume-licensed: Click the name of the software, choose a preferred vendor, and tell them how many copies you want. they'll let you know if you are eligible for a discount.
Help with partially supported software
- Consult the application's Help system and search the Web
- Trainers will answer questions after you've taken a class
- Third-party classes an online learning are often available
- Check OHSU's software forum
- A user group may exist
