How can I change my pager status?

Why is my pager displaying what looks like a tree?
This is a signal that you have gone out of paging range.
Why do I keep getting paged to 48311?
- Someone is trying to send you a text page on a numeric pager.
- The text message that was sent contained too many characters to be sent through the paging system.
- Active and archived messages can be retrieved via SmartWeb's individual profile screen.
Why do people keep saying my messages to them are always cut off?
The pages you are sending are too long to be transmitted by the paging system. When using the OHSU paging system the / (forward slash) is a symbol that tells the system not to send the information that follows and to instead store this information on the paging record.
