Long Distance Authorization Codes
Long distance calls at OHSU require the use of a seven-digit authorization code provided by ITG's Telecommunications group. Your telephone counselor or manager can request a new code, change a code, or remove a code by submitting the authorization code form.
We offer authorization codes to fit the calling needs of your user. This is done by setting a restriction level to allow or block calls based on an individual's calling area.
- Authorization codes should not be shared, each user should have their own code.
- A user also may have multiple authorization codes for different funds (aliases) to allow for charges to individual grants, departments, and so on.
Restriction Levels
- FRL 3 – Limited to calls within Oregon and Vancouver, Washington
- FRL 4 – Limited to calls within the United States and British Columbia, Canada
- FRL 5 – Allows US and International calls
- FRL 6 – Same as FRL 5 with Priority Routing
