IT Contact Resources
Information Technology Contacts (ITCs) are primarily the single point of contact for an OHSU department's technology needs. Each department manager is responsible for selecting a member of the department's staff to be an IT Contact.
In order to become a departments ITC, the following conditions must be met:
- The employee should be past their initial probationary hire period
- The designated ITC is a permanent employee of OHSU:
Temporary employees/students are not eligible. - Department manager approval
Currently ITG's Communication and Learning department coordinates the ITC Program. To add or remove an IT Contact for your department, email ITG Communications & Learning at coml@ohsu.edu.

Meetings
ITCs meet on the second Thursday of each month from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the CDRC 3200, plus via Adodbe Connect Pro to talk about changes on the network and provide an opportunity to learn from one another. You can participate in the meetings live or via our online meeting space.
ITC Portal
The ITC Portal is a collaborative SharePoint site where members can benefit from the following:
- Receive custom alerts in email for specific events in the portal (e.g. know when someone responds to your discussion post)
- Participate in discussions with other ITC members
- View the latest updates and announcements from the OHSU support arena
- Get access to post and retrieve shared files
- View and contribute to shared Wiki pages
- Access the ITC membership list
- See Meeting notices and updates
- Access online learning materials and live virtual demos
- And much more...
