ISTART
ISTART is ITG’s project request application. Use it to enter and track requests for new systems , applications, reports, or interfaces. You may also use this request system to ask for VPN access, a department shared drive, application upgrades, or maintenance fixes to existing enterprise systems.

- Use a CAPS form to request phone, workstation, laptop, or jack purchases or changes.
- Submit a Help Desk ticket, particularly to request help if an existing system is not working as expected.
Strategic initiatives
We capture a variety of measurements to monitor and evaluate our performance.
Prior to each new fiscal year, OHSU's Executive Mission Group identifies ITG's major initiatives by using OHSU's evolving strategic plan OHSU 2020 along with other methods of reviewing our strategic goals.
The Executive Mission Group estimates return on investment based on a holistic view of required resources, such as hardware, software, and staff hours. ITG's leadership team reviews the strategic initiatives monthly to discuss major milestones, risks, scope changes, customer impact, and projects ready for go-live.
