The Information Technology Group (ITG) is OHSU's central organization for technology services. We provide the tools that connect our faculty, student, staff, physicians, researchers, patients, affiliates and collaborators so that they can serve OHSU's mission of world-class education, healthcare, and research.

The CIO's office has responsibility for OHSU's Web and Intranet environments including collaboration tools and applications such as SharePoint, CommonSpot, and WordPress as well as internal workflow tools such as Catalyst and Service Center.

Additionally, Business Intelligence provides a people, process and technology foundation for establishing information as a strategic asset at OHSU.

Healthcare Applications Management supports Epic, LCRWeb, PACS, PDAccess, healthcare administration, and hospital reporting applications.

We also develop systems for communicating patient care and patient billing information between OHSU's health record system and hospital departments.

In addition, we provide OHSU's clinical departments with business analysis, project management, application development and technical support.

The Performance Improvement and Business Operations

Division includes Business Operations, Communications and Learning, Finance, Administrative Services and ITG's Project Management Office.  PIBO provides centralized support services across all divisions of ITG.  We manage ITG's internal workflow tools including Service Center and Catalyst, and provide support services across the organization, including financial reporting and analysis, communication and training services, and administrative functions.  The ITG Project Management Office, currently in development, will provide a common framework for the way that ITG manages projects and requests from its customers.

Research and Collaboration Systems supports and promotes information sharing and collaboration both within ITG and across OHSU.  RCSD has responsibility for OHSU's Web and Intranet environments including collaboration tools and applications such as SharePoint, CommonSpot, and WordPress as well as internal workflow tools such as Catalyst and Service Center.
