The Department of Public Safety provides the following services:

Access Control

Building access is set up and managed by Public Safety for all OHSU facilities.  Learn how to request access or manage changes in access to doors and elevators.

 

Background Checks

Employees, students, volunteers and vendors receive background checks before working with OHSU.  Learn how to request a background check.

Fingerprinting 

Public Safety processes requests for fingerprints by appointment only with at least 24 hours advance notice.  Learn how to request a fingerprinting appointment.

Lost & Found 

Public Safety is responsible for lost and found items at OHSU.  Learn how to report found items and check on lost items.

Motorist Assistance 

Help is available if a driver locks keys in the car or has minor mechanical problems.  Learn how Public Safety can assist.

Sex Offender Information 

Public Safety connects you to resources and information about local sex offenders as required by the Clery Act.  Learn how to obtain sex offender information.

Transports & Escorts 

Officers provide safe escort for employees, visitors, patients and students to all Marquam Hill campus locations.  Learn how to request escort or transportation assistance.

Workplace Violence Assessment
