The OHSU Department of Public Safety is now offering fingerprinting services to the campus and greater community. There are many reasons to obtain fingerprint cards, including job requirements, volunteering or specialized certifications.
Hours and Location
Fingerprinting services are available by appointment and must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. To schedule an appointment at the Public Safety office, call Dispatch at 503 494-7744 and press zero to speak to a Dispatcher. Emergency appointments may only be considered if a fingerprint technician is available. Public Safety is unable to supply fingerprint cards, so please ask the referral entity for a card to bring to the appointment. We are located in the Physical Plant, 3310 SW US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, Oregon 97239.
Fees and Payment Methods
The fee for OHSU staff, students and affiliates is $10.00 per card. The fee for non-OHSU affiliates is $20.00 per card. All fees must be paid in advance at the Baird Hall cashier.
What to Bring
Be sure and bring these items to your appointment:
- Fingerprint card provided by the referring entity with any specific instructions
- Valid government-issued photo ID (photo ID card, driver's license, passport, etc.)
- Receipt from the Baird Hall Cashier
- An envelope with proper postage and address information if the fingerprint card is to be sealed and mailed
