Background checks must be completed for candidates offered employment or volunteer positions at OHSU. This applies to new hires, rehires, transfers, promotions and students. Individuals cannot begin an assignment or receive an ID badge until Public Safety confirms the applicant has no applicable criminal history.
Background check requests are prepared and submitted to Public Safety by the Hiring Department.
