Community Outreach

The goal of OHSU outreach efforts is to support and strengthen community and business partnerships.

OHSU staff supports and attends community meetings and events to market educational and partnerships with local businesses to strengthen relationships.  A wide range of meetings and organizations are incorporated into OHSU’s outreach efforts including but not limited to the groups featured on this page.  

Attending community outreach events supports and strengthens our partnerships with diverse organizations and communities.

African American Chamber of Commerce

Nonprofit organization that advocates for the equitable participation of minority businesses in the local economy.   Read more..

Nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating barriers to participation in regional construction and design projects faced by minority business owners. Read more..

Native American Chamber of Commerce of Oregon

Nonprofit organization that focuses on the advancement of educational and economic opportunities for Native Americans in Oregon and SW Washington.  Read more..

Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs

Holds monthly business networking meetings for small and large businesses and government representatives to discuss contracting opportunities. Additionally, OAME provides access to capital and technical assistance for small businesses.   Read more..
