Alternate Work Stations

Big Brain is designed to run on computers that meet certain system requirements. If you do not have access to a computer or your system does not meet the requirements, you may take the course using an alternate workstation. Locations and logistics are described below.

BICC Library, 3rd floor

There are numerous PCs near the circulation desk that are available for use. No trainer available. Library hours.

BICC Training Rooms, 1st Floor

BICC 104, 120, 121 and 122 all have 12 PCs. No trainer available. Reservations are required. Advanced scheduling is recommended. Walk-ins not possible. Users must clean room and turn off PCs when finished. Blocks of time can be reserved for your department. Room reservation instructions.

VA Hospital

The following provides a list of workstations to complete HIPAA and other Big Brain online courses:

  • Room 7C 110: 3 CWW
  • Room 7C 111: 3 computers, one is non-standard so may not be shared
  • Room 7C 125: 4 computers, CCWs 7C 133: 2 computers, both CCWs

Please note: CCW-Clinical Care Workstation. Autoboot. Should be able to get into any Big Brain online course. Check with local staff for availability.
