Environmental Health & Radiation Safety (EHRS) provides guidance and services related to occupational and environmental safety for all OHSU areas. Biological Safety
Environmental Health & Radiation Safety (EHRS) provides guidance and services related to the safe use of biologicals for all operations that use or may have exposure to biologicals, blood and other potentially infectious material, including body fluids. Chemical Safety
Environmental Health & Radiation Safety (EHRS) provides guidance and services related to the safe use of chemicals for all OHSU operations where chemicals are present. Chemical Safety considers policies and procedures to the safe handling, transport and use of chemicals. Contact EHRS for more information.
Radiation Safety
Environmental Health & Radiation Safety (EHRS) provides guidance and services related to the safe use of ionizing radiation and radioactive material. Radiation Safety includes information in areas such as: dosimetry, instruments, licensing, and available services. Contact EHRS for specific questions and concerns.
Environmental Safety
Environmental Health & Radiation Safety (EHRS) provides services and resources to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to achieve optimal control or reduction of hazards and exposures, which are detrimental to people, property, and the environment. Many of the programs are developed in response to regulations from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and others.
