Interest Based Problem Solving

Does your department or team get stuck when making decisions? Are you interested in learning a collaborative model for problem solving? If yes, attend an Interest Based Problem Solving class and practice a proven problem solving method that can be applied in the workplace. Interest Based Problem Solving is a tool to engage employees and managers in discussion to jointly identify solutions to problems. This class will be highly interactive and will provide participants with a tool that will serve as a guide for decision making.

Who Should Attend?

  • This course is designed for and available to departments by request only (manager attendance is required)

Training Parameters

  • Must have ten or more employees participating in training.
  • A portion of the employees attending must be AFSCME-represented.
  • Class is 3 hours in length.
