Conflict Coaching Program
Conflict is a natural and normal feature of the workplace. It is inevitable in any organization. Although differences will occur, the outcome does not have to be negative.
The purpose of the CWE Center Conflict Coaching Program is to provide employees with the skills, knowledge and support to effectively manage the early stages of workplace conflicts. The program is not intended for crisis, employee relations or labor relations intervention. It is designed to provide individuals with the tools needed to proactively address conflict they experience at work. The program does this by:
- Providing comprehensive training to OHSU employees that builds competence and confidence in effectively coaching peers in how to address workplace conflict.
- Engaging and empowering employees to effectively manage the early stages of workplace conflict with the support of a coach
