HONORARIUM
An honorarium is defined as a gratuitous payment of money to an individual for his or her participation in a usual academic activity for which no fee is legally required. Usual academic activity means lecturing, teaching, readings, performances and sharing knowledge. See the Honorarium Process for more details.
Moving Reimbursement
Once a move has been completed, OHSU can reimburse an employee for actual, allowable moving expenses up to 10% of annual starting base salary in accordance with an employment offer. Payments are made directly to OHSU employees through Payroll. For more information regarding moving expense and reimbursement see the Moving/Relocation Guidelines.
Petty Cash
A request to open a petty cash fund for a department must include a signed disbursement form. See the Petty Cash Procedure for more information.
