Chart of Accounts and Journal Entries

Central Financial Services’ Accounting team provides instructions, forms, and assistance in maintaining the OHSU Chart of Accounts (COA) in the Oracle accounting module. The Accounting team maintains the Chart of Accounts and provides procedures for making changes in accounts.

The Accounting team also provides everything needed for completing journal entries: guidelines, forms, examples and instructions for Internal Billing Services, General Ledger accounting, Grant accounting, and Foundation entries.

 

Financial Analysis

The Financial Analysis team provides financial analysis and support to OHSU.  This includes the financial support services for Facilities and  Logistics, the process by which OHSU maintains funding from State Appropriations, and the methodology for maintaining the Overhead Cost Allocation.
