Mr. Brown joined OHSU in November 2000 as OHSU’s Comptroller. His responsibilities include oversight of the University’s Accounting, Budgeting, Disbursements, Treasury, and Financial Planning operations that support senior level decision making and strategic planning. Mary Justice, Central Disbursements Senior Manager
Mary Justice, Central Disbursements Senior Manager, joined OHSU in the spring of 2000, bringing 15 years of payroll and medical office experience. She was originally hired to supervise 5.0 FTE payroll office staff but was soon promoted to Payroll Manager, supervising everyone in Payroll except the Accounting staff.
In 2001, Ms. Justice was asked to add the travel desk functions to her responsibilities, where she worked with the travel auditor to streamline procedures for travel authorizations and with OHSU corporate travel agency to offer on-line booking for travel coordinators. In 2005, Ms. Justice was offered another new challenge, that of supervising the invoice processors in Accounts Payable. This allowed her to learn new functionality within Oracle and to add new processes and procedures related to payables to her “tool kit”.
Ms. Justice was recently promoted to the Central Disbursements Senior Manager position to encompass responsibility for all facets of Accounts Payable, Travel, Payroll, and Labor Distribution.
