Marquam Hill Campus
OHSU's main campus sits atop Marquam Hill, located just south of downtown Portland. In 2002, the City of Portland adopted the Marquam Hill Plan and the Marquam Hill Design Guidelines which provide a framework for institutional expansion on Marquam Hill while also stabilizing and preserving surrounding neighborhoods and natural areas. OHSU actively participated in the drafting of the plan and the University's future growth will be shaped by the plan elements, including the Functional Areas Site Development Concept that provides a spatial framework for OHSU's three mission-related functions: patient care, education and research.
