Capital Construction Project Management Best Practices Symposium 2016

This two day owner-focused event is the unique symposium for Capital Construction Project Management. The program provides a collaborative and integrated forum to interact with owner project managers, architects, and general contractors to share common challenges and best management practices in the delivery of capital projects. Our innovative format creates real world, hands-on situations in which teams solve the problems of complex construction project management. Previous participants agree the event is challenging, stimulating, inspiring, fun, and unexpected.

The event takes place January 28 & 29, 2016, in Portland, Oregon.

He worked with Helyar & Associates in Edmonton as a QS before joining Skyline Roofing as an Estimator and Account Manager/Estimator in 1993. In early 2005 Bill was part of founding the group known as Mindshift. For 3 years the group studied the state of the industry through dedicated collaboration sessions with owners, consultants, contractors, key trades, and suppliers. Mindshift compared the status quo to several outlier projects and groups that had achieved results generally held to be impossible under normal circumstances and traditional delivery models.

In 2009 Bill and three other members of Mindshift summarized their findings in The Commercial Real Estate Revolution. The book identifies the challenges of the industry while outlining potential solutions, new behaviors and technologies such as Lean Construction, Integrated Project Delivery and BIM that are delivering superior results.Bill founded Mindnetworkx Inc. in July 2015 to consult and advise groups on business development strategy, workplace/cultural strategy, modular interiors, sustainability and Lean Integrated Project Delivery.
