Ribbon cutting for Oregon Health & Science University’s Data Center West

Leaders from OHSU and Intel will speak at the ribbon cutting for OHSU’s new Data Center West, which started operating on OHSU’s West Campus in July. Data Center West boasts the cutting edge technology and huge computing power needed for OHSU researchers and scientists to gather and analyze enormous amounts of biomedical data to help them better understand and cure disease. Intel and OHSU have a multi-year research and engineering collaboration that includes technology at Data Center West.
Leaders from the organizations that helped build the data center, along with leaders from the state of Oregon, Washington County, the cities of Hillsboro, Beaverton and Tualatin and other dignitaries will attend the event.
