Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation Names New Officers

Ronald G. Brake was named president of the Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation at the December meeting of the foundation's board of directors. A leader in the Oregon grocery industry, Brake is co-owner of the Food 4 Less stores located in Portland and Gresham. He has been instrumental in the success of Miracle Aisles, a fundraising program that works through grocery stores to raise money for pediatric health care services provided at Doernbecher Children's Hospital and other area hospitals.

Joining Brake in 1999 as officers of Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation's board of directors are: Executive Vice President and Vice President for Finance Hutch Johnson, president of Cadet Manufacturing Company; and Secretary Noydena L. Brix, a civic leader from Portland who is actively involved in issues affecting women, children and health care.
