Dr. Druker, director of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, says the end of cancer is within reach. In 2009 he received what's been called "America's Nobel" for his research, which led to the development of Gleevec, the first targeted cancer pill to kill cancer cells while leaving healthy tissue unharmed.
