Center for Research on Occupational and Environmental Toxicology (CROET)
CROET is dedicated to health and safety in the workforce. The center's mission is to promote health and safety, and prevent disease and disability, among working Oregonians and their families during their employment years and through retirement. Researchers and educators at CROET do so through world-class basic and applied research, outreach and education.
CROET works in partnership with labor, industry, government and the community. The center conducts research, trains health professionals, provides consultation, and offers the public information on occupational health and safety through its CROETweb resource directory and Toxicology Information Center. CROET's scientists and research staff explore a range of questions relating to the prevention of injury and disease in the workforce of Oregon and beyond.
While CROET's research receives national and international acclaim, the center's goal is to create safe, healthy workplaces right here in Oregon.
