OHSU would literally not be where it is today without the power of planned giving. Two early and transformative estate gifts from C.S. “Sam” Jackson and Frank Doernbecher enabled OHSU to expand its Marquam Hill campus and construct its first teaching hospital - Doernbecher. The vibrant, multifaceted institution we know today coalesced from these visionary acts of planned philanthropy.
