This one-of-a-kind wooden chest was designed and handcrafted by the artists at Sticks, Inc. to match the theme of the 15th Annual Heart of Doernbecher Auction: Hooray for Doernbecher - Honoring the Past, Present and Future. Intricate carvings play on the Hollywood theme. Take home this memorable piece as a reminder of an inspiring evening!

Package #2: Dine like the Stars of 1940's Hollywood
Step into the gracious elegance of a 1940's Hollywood themed dinner party for ten hosted by DJ Wilson & Bill Hoadley and John & Christina Blackwell. Every aspect of the evening will conjure this magic decade, from the cocktails, to the menu and the after dinner repartee.The lovely hilltop home of DJ Wilson and Bill Hoadley will provide a view reminiscent of the Hollywood hills. This Tudor manse has the perfect floor plan for progressive dining with each course set in a different "scene." DJ is a brilliant set director, and Friends of Doernbecher Board Members Bill and Deanna Shake will act as the sommeliers, providing a depth of wine knowledge that would make any movie mogul proud. Stoller Vineyards has provided a selection of fine vintages. Bill Hoadley is the Chef de Cuisine and has crafted a menu evocative of the era, from caviar to coeur de la crème. To assist, Christina Blackwell will bring her French culinary expertise to the sauces and seafood. To complete the experience, black tie, diamonds and satin are encouraged.
