Credit Unions for Kids
Credit unions throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington have been helping the children at Doernbecher Children's Hospital since 1986. The Credit Unions for Kids program is a grassroots fundraising effort involving more than 100 credit unions throughout the region. The credit unions' credo of "People Helping People" is aptly illustrated in their commitment to the kids at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
To date Credit Unions for Kids has raised more than $8 million for Doernbecher. Funded projects include:

Credit Unions raise money through everything from candy and bake sales (above) to large-scale events such as Wine on the Willamette and the Hank & Moose Open Golf Tournament (below).

Holiday Cookie Bake
Thank you to those who joined Safeway, Inc., Rivermark Community Credit Union and the Doernbecher Foundation at the 29th annual Cookie Bake! With your help, we were able to raise over $37,000 for Doernbecher.

The 30th annual Holiday Cookie Bake presented by Safeway Clackamas Bread Plant and Rivermark Community Credit Union will be in early December 2012 at the Safeway Clackamas Bread Plant. Online reservations will open mid-November. Please note, no early reservations will be accepted.
