Kids of Portland
Charles Waugh, Portland's premiere portrait photographer, is creating a coffee-table book as a fundraiser for Doernbecher Children's Hospital. The book will feature 300 kids from the Portland area. There is a fee of $100 to have your children in the book, and that fee goes entirely to Doernbecher! Charles' studio is located just 15 minutes from downtown and his clients rave about the fun they have during the photographic session. He hopes to raise around $20,000 with the project and is already almost a quarter of the way there. Learn more at the project's website, www.kidsofportland.com. Recycle Your Cell Phone and Benefit Doernbecher
Recycling your old cell phone has never been so easy—or rewarding. Thanks to Consumer Cellular, Inc., we are continuing our cell phone recycling project to benefit Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Since the program began in 2007, more than $126,000 has been donated to the hospital. When a phone is recycled, 100 percent of the value is donated directly to Doernbecher.
