Event: National Kickoff Meeting in Washington, DC

The RCE Program held its RCE Kickoff Meeting in Washington DC for the second funding cycle on May 7th and 8th.  An overview of the program goals and accomplishments was followed by presentations from each of the directors of the eleven Regional Centers of Excellence.  There was discussion of possible integration and synergy between centers and areas of expertise that other centers might want to capitalize upon.

Expectations for ARRA projects from the centers was covered and a reminder that the finalist for the ARRA projects were due on May 22nd.
