Elected Offices and Nominating Committee

WIN annually announces the offices for which the Nominating Committee is seeking nominations.In 2010, there will be an election for the Governor-at-Large, the Governor Representative of Nursing Research; the Governor Representative of Student Members; and one member of the Nominating Committee. Annual Awards

WIN annually presents awards for the Distinguished Nursing Research Lectureship Award, the Anna Shannon Mentorship Award, the Jo Eleanor Elliott Leadership Award, the John A. Hartford Foundation-WIN Regional Geriatric Nursing Research Award, the Ann M. Voda American Indian/Alaskan Native/First Nation Conference Award, the Western Academy of Nurses and WIN Emeriti. The deadline for receipt of all awards nominations is 5:00 PM on Monday, November 2, 2009.

 

The awards for the Pat A. Perry Biological Nursing Research Award and the Carol A. Lindeman Award for a New Researcher are tied to the abstract submissions process. Those interested in being considered for those awards must submit a 5 page paper after notification that their abstract has been accepted for presentation at the WIN conference.
