2008 CALL FOR ELECTED OFFICES AND NOMINATION COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS |
The WIN Nominating Committee invites members to submit their own or other members' names as possible candidates for election in 2008 to the following positions:
• President-Elect
• Secretary-Treasurer
• Governor Representative of Nursing Education
• Governor Representative of Nursing Practice
• Nominating Committee, Position #1
Application Deadline
All completed nominations forms and required materials (see 2008 Nomination Form) must be received in the WIN office by 5:00 PM on Monday, December 10, 2007. Please direct phone inquiries to the WIN office at 503-494-0869.
Completed nominations forms may be FAXed to WIN at 503-494-3691, or mailed or shipped to WIN by the deadline at:

Notification and Timetable
Those whose names are submitted in response to the Call for Nominations will be notified by early January 2008 if their names are on the slate. The slate and ballots will be mailed to members by Friday, January 25, 2008. Ballots will be due in the WIN office by Friday, February 15, 2008. All individuals who are on the slate will be notified of the results by March 1, 2007. All terms of office begin at the conclusion of the WIN Member Assembly/Communicating Nursing Research Conference in 2008. Newly elected Board members are invited to attend the pre-conference Board meeting on April 16, 2008. All newly elected Board and Committee members are urged to attend the Member Assembly meeting during which installation into office will occur.
