2008 WIN Conference Location and Hotel Reservations.
The 2008 WIN conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Orange County, 11999 Harbor Boulevard, Garden Grove, CA. The room block at the Hyatt Regency is now sold out. Two options have been made available to assist WIN conference attendees with locating guest rooms.
1. The Hilton Garden Inn, Anaheim/Garden Grove is holding a block of 25 rooms for the WIN conference at the rate of $139.00/night plus applicable taxes. The hotel is located at 11777 Harbor Blvd., Garden Grove, CA and is 0.2 of a mile from the Hyatt Regency Orange County. Reservations must be received no later than Sunday, March 30, 2008. Reservations after this date will be accepted on a space and rate availability. Please indicate you are with the “Western Institute of Nursing” when you place your reservation.
Call the hotel’s reservation department at 714-703-9100 or toll free at 1-800-HILTONS to make your reservation. A first night room and tax deposit and a major credit card number must accompany all individual reservations. The hotel will apply a “no show” charge of the first night room and tax for those who do not register. Check in time is anytime after 3:00 PM. Checkout time is 12:00 PM. Arrangements can be made for luggage storage through the front desk.

2. Reservation Center, Anaheim/ Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, will assist with finding hotel reservations.
The Convention Housing department of the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau is ready to assist WIN conference attendees to locate hotel guest rooms through its Resource Center. Hotel Room Reservations and Procedures
A block of sleeping rooms for the WIN conference required reservations on or before Monday, March 24, 2008 to obtain the conference rates. The block is now sold out.
Room Rates
Single or double occupancy: $139.00/night
Triple or quadruple occupancy: $164.00/night
One bedroom suites: An additional $40.00 to each rate category
Two bedroom suites: An additional $80.00 to each rate category
Kids Suites, featuring bunk beds for children: An additional $30.00 to each rate category.
There is no charge for children 18 years of age and under sharing a room with parents.
NOTE : All room rates listed above are exclusive of state and local taxes, which are currently at 13% plus a $.10 California state assessment fee.
Check In/Check Out
Hotel check in time is after 3:00 PM; and check out is prior to 12:00 noon. All guests arriving before 3:00 PM will be accommodated as rooms become available. Note: There is a $20 charge if guests want to check in between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, but no charge for early check-in between 1:00 and 3:00 PM. Requests for late check-out must be communicated through the front desk and will be honored when possible. If rooms are not available for early check-in or late check-out, arrangements will be made for storage of luggage.
Guests must give the hotel 72 hours notice if their departure date changes to avoid a charge of one night's room and tax.
Parking
Self-parking is available. The daily parking rates at the time of the conference will apply. Currently, the rates are: $3.00 first hour and $2.00 for each additional hour. The current daily maximum is $10.00 and overnight parking is $10.00. Valet parking is available at higher rates.
Hotel Locale and Amenities
The hotels are located 16 miles from John Wayne Airport (SNA) and 45 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The Super Shuttle service from the John Wayne Airport to the hotel is currently $10.00 one way.
The Hyatt Regency Orange County and the Hilton Garden Inn are located near multiple shopping, dining and entertainment options. A Transportation Desk is available at the Hyatt Regency hotel and there is a car rental service on property.
The hotels are four (4) blocks south of Disneyland Parks and Downtown Disney. The Hyatt hotel provides complimentary transportation to the Disney Parks, running every 15 minutes.
