There are many “hot” wireless network access points on the Marquam Hill campus at this time and the number is increasing. A list and map of wireless access coverage is provided from the ITG Helpdesk HERE. The University originally deployed the wireless network with some security protocols but has now opened wireless network access points to the public. If you have an 802.11b compliant wireless network card or device, you may be able to access the Internet from just about anywhere in the School of Nursing building. The caveat is, OHSU does not “officially” support the public wireless network. The Helpdesk can help with connection and downtime information for wireless access but it has a lower priority than the OHSU business and academic network services.
