School of Nursing Post-Doctoral Positions The OHSU School of Nursing has one, 1-year post doctoral fellowships available to nurses who wish to obtain research training in risk assessment and/or intervention research with individuals and families experiencing health disparities. The "Risk Assessment and Intervention Research with Individuals and Families" T32 training program provides advanced and specialized training to nurses with doctoral preparation who have demonstrated potential for research careers. The 1-year program of study will be tailored to meet the trainee's specific research learning needs as negotiated with their primary mentor. Persons interested in applying for these post-doc positions should contact a faculty member at the OHSU School of Nursing about their research ideas to determine whether the research interests and commitment to the training between the applicant and the faculty is a sufficient match. After consultation and negotiation with an identified faculty, applicants will submit a letter of intent, a curriculum vita, and a proposed research training plan, including how their research fits with the proposed mentor. For further information, please contact Dr. Judy Kendall, Project Director at kendalju@ohsu.edu or 503-494-3890. |
