The Role
of Neurological Changes in Behavioral Symptoms in Alzheimer’s Disease

Project Description:
This proposed study
will add to our understanding of the neurological basis of behavioral
symptoms. The aims of this study are to examine prospectively the individual
variability of behavioral symptoms over a 3-year period and then explore
the ability of structural imaging and neuropsychological testing to significantly
account for the variation in behavioral symptoms in a well-characterized
inception group of people with possible or probable Alzheimer’s
disease according to NINCDS-ADRDA criteria.
