"Optimizing Care for Hospitalized Older Adults"Elizabeth
Capezuti, Dr. Capezuti will address strategies for enhancing care, reducing risk and improving health and functional outcomes for hospitalized older adults. Findings from her research have been used to draft federal regulations related to nursing home care. As the director of the Nurses Improving Care for Health System Elders (NICHE) program, Capezuti guides the mission of sensitive and exemplary patient-centered care for people age 65 and over. Following Dr. Capezuti's
