Scholarships are Critical in Educating Nurses
The OHSU School of
Nursing is grateful for gifts of nearly $800,000 to endow new scholarships
and for the impact they have as the School strives to enroll the very
best applicants, many of whom could not afford to attend without financial
help. Endowed scholarships provide a meaningful opportunity to honor a

The Makings of a Train Wreck
The environment of
shrinking public funding, combined with increasing demands on the School
has the makings of a train wreck. The situation places more importance
on attracting private donations than the School has ever experienced.
