Diana White, Ph.D.
Diana White, PhD, is Assistant Professor and the CGNE Project Director at the School of Nursing. She is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Center and provides support to the faculty and program directors. She also is the liaison between the BPI and the Better Jobs Better Care project, serving as evaluator for that program. Her research interests include intergenerational family relationships in later life, family bereavement, and work environments of direct care workers. She currently is Principal Investigator for Developing and Evaluating tools to Measure Family Perspectives about Person-Centered Care for Persons with Dementia in Long-term Care Settings (funded by the Oregon Tax Check-off Alzheimer’s Research Committee). Prior to her work with CGNE, Dr. White was Deputy Director of the Oregon Geriatric Education Center and before that was a co-investigator on a VA Health Services Research &Development project to develop information synthesis methodology.
