Juliana C. Cartwright, Ph.D.
"My research focus is end-of-life care in assisted living facilities, with emphasis on how nurses and caregiving staffs can work together to support 'good deaths' in these settings. I am also interested in ethical challenges related to conducting research in community residential care settings. My research methodologies are primarily qualitative, with emphasis on use of intensive interviews, focus groups, and participant observations. Other areas of research interest include program evaluation related to technology-mediated instruction in higher education." TEACHING N474: Health Policy
