Office
of Practice Development
Contracting
at OHSU School of Nursing
When services are
needed that are not available within OHSU, or there is a need to provide
services to an agency outside of OHSU, or we wish to have services from
another agency, a contract is usually needed to document the mutual responsibilities
and expectations of the parties. The School of Nursing works with the
OHSU Logistics Contracting Services for the preparation and execution
of of all contracts.
Contracts required
within the School of Nursing are centrally coordinated by the Practice
Development Office under the direction of Marna Flaherty-Robb and Dakota
Duncan. Contracts are signed by both Marna, as delegated by Dean Kathleen
Potempa, and by an OHSU Logistics Contracting Services representative.
Values that
drive our establishment of relationships with community partners.
- We wish to support
enduring relationships where common good, predictability, trust and
mutual benefit are core to the work.
- We wish to support
services that provide direct benefit to the community and customers
we serve, and that are aligned with our strategic mission and goals.
- We wish to receive
compensation that covers our costs, and investment needs.
- We wish to provide
settings that enhance our desire to link education, practice, research
and service in an economic manner.
- We wish to encourage
learning and communication of those lessons to the citizens of Oregon
and beyond.
