Founded in 1926, the OHSU School of Nursing has played a key role in training nurses for nearly a century. With a history of academic and clinical excellence and a commitment to teaching, healing, community service and research, the school provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to learn in a health care and research oriented environment.

The OHSU School of Nursing offers three pathways to the Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing:

1. OCNE Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing program - Part of the Oregon Consortium of Nursing Education program, this three year program combines nursing and non-nursing coursework for students to achieve the B.S. with a major in nursing degree and prepare for RN Licensure.

2. Accelerated Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing program - This 5 quarter program is designed for students who have or will have a bachelor's degree in something other than nursing and will provide the nursing coursework needed in order to achieve the Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing degree and prepare for RN Licensure.

3. RN to BS - This online, part-time program, is designed for students who already have an Associates Degree or Diploma in nursing as well as the RN license and who are ready to move forward to complete the courses for the Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing degree.
