Requirements
Please see the international applicant Web page if you are a resident of a country other than the United States or if you have attended college outside of the US.
All applicants must:
- Be licensed as a registered nurse
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Complete non-nursing prerequisites/required courses at other universities
or community colleges.

- Prerequisites for Students Admitted Fall 2007 or Before
- Go to Oregon Course Equivalency Guide and Washington Course Equivalency Guide
- Note: you can be in progress with prerequisites when you apply, but all prerequisites must be complete prior to matriculation into the program.
- Go to program of study for detailed information about required courses.
- Possess minimum computer skills and have access to a computer with predetermined minimum capabilities and access to the Internet, independent of the School of Nursing and University resources. Computer Requirements
- Complete and submit the appropriate online application
for admission including:
- a personal statement of goals and objectives; please see essay prompt within online application
- a $120 non-refundable application fee made payable to OHSU submitted online
- Complete and submit a supplemental application packet including:
- official copies of all transcripts from all college institutions ever attended
- a copy of your RN license
- signed signature page, which must be printed as the final step of the online application
- Prerequisite Coursework Form - to be filled out and printed from within the online application
