Requirements

Please see the international applicant web page if you are a resident of a country other than the United States. The following are the requirements for admission into the OHSU School of Nursing Post-Master's Certificate Option Program:

Prior Degree

It is expected that all applicants have a Master's Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing and Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

RN Status

Grade Point Average

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Scores

Not required to take the Graduate Record Examination.

Statistics

Not required to fulfill the master's degree statistics requirement.

Coursework

Not required to fulfill the master's core courses. Most certificate options take an additional one to two years of specialty coursework and clinical hours. Click on links below for specific program requirements.

Computer Requirements

School of Nursing students are required to have access to a computer with pre-determined minimum capabilities, independent of the School of Nursing and university resources.
