Requirements
Either a master’s degree in nursing or concurrent enrollment in a graduate program in nursing is required. The admissions committee evaluates applicants on academic qualifications (GPA), a match between goal statement and program goals, and references. Scholarships through the Hearst Foundation endowment are available.
- Must be eligible for an Oregon registered nurse license.
- Must be licensed in the state of Oregon prior to matriculation and have a satisfactory working knowledge of statistics.
Grade Point Average
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Scores
Not required to take the Graduate Record Examination.
Statistics
Not required to fulfill the master's degree statistics requirement.
School of Nursing students are required to have access to a computer with pre-determined minimum capabilities, independent of the School of Nursing and university resources.
