PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER (PMHNP)
The admissions committee evaluates applicants on academic qualifications (GRE Scores and GPA), completion of prerequisite course work, and a match between goal statement and program goals, and references. Graduates are eligible to sit for certification as nurse practitioners and clinical specialists through the ANCC.
The PMNHP program is available on the Portland Campus.
Requirements for Nurses
For applicants with a baccalaureate nursing degree, please review the program of study and prerequisites to prepare your application. The PMHNP program prefers applicants to have prior clinical experience prior to admission to the graduate program, however, this requirement may be waived for applicants with exceptional qualifications.
The PMNHP program is available on the Portland, and may be available on the LaGrande, Klamath Falls and Ashland campuses as well.
