Program of Study

Once admitted, students will take three years of upper division nursing courses and general education courses in order to complete the program. The OHSU School of Nursing does not offer non-nursing general education courses. Once enrolled, students will take nursing courses at OHSU School of Nursing and non-nursing general education courses at another institution. Over the three years, students will take a combination of courses in traditional classroom settings as well as participate in clinical rotations. Clinical experiences are at agencies located in multiple sites throughout Oregon. The school supports technology in the classroom and in the clinical setting. Students will take courses through traditional lecture, online and video-conferencing modalities.

Fill out the B.S. with a major in Nursing Preliminary Transcript Evaluation Form to help plan your coursework with your counselor at the college you plan to attend to complete your lower division coursework. The fee for an unofficial transcript evaluation is $25. Please enclose a check or money order payable to OHSU SON.
