Admission to the School of Nursing is on a competitive basis. The School of Nursing seeks to admit a diverse group of qualified applicants. The Office of Professional Development & Diversity assists in the admission of underrepresented minority groups who may be disadvantaged for economic, education or other reasons.

The following are the requirements for admission into the OHSU School of Nursing Bachelor's Degree Program:
Requirements for Application
- Completion of Prerequisites: All prerequisites must be completed prior to matriculation.
- Grade Point Average: A minimum GPA of 3.00 is needed to be eligible for consideration. However, a higher GPA is more competitive.
- Completed Application: Applicants must complete an application which includes signature page, prerequisite coursework form and application essay.

2: Gather all Transcripts.
Keep transcripts in their original, sealed envelopes. Transcripts are
considered official only if they are in the original, sealed institution
envelopes.

3: Application Essay - instructions for this portion will be included
in the online application.
Step 4: Complete the Prerequisite Coursework Form found within the online
application and print.
Step 5: If you'd like to be considered for a scholarship, please submit your scholarship application with your admissions application.

6: Review vital information about the American
Nursing Association Code of Ethics, 2001 and how it pertains to your
application status.

7: Apply:
Sending your completed application.
The application fee is $120.
