Fees & Registration

Courses are held at the OHSU campus in southwest Portland. Please make checks payable to OHSU PALS Program

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO RENEWAL STUDENTS:

You do not need to purchase new PALS book materials if you bought your books in 2007 or later.

Also:

This section needs to be removed:

  • [for the provider class} $250 without book materials
  • [for the renewal class] $150 without book materials

 

Please change it to read:

Provider class: 250, without book materials/ 285, with book materials

Renewal class:150, without book materials/ 185, with book materials

You are notified of class time and location after your registration is received.

The student Course Guide is a requirement for taking the PALS Provider or Renewal courses.

Cancellation Policy: Due to class size limitations, registration fee is not refundable if cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to class date.

You will be notified electronically that your registration materials have been received.

It is recommended you register several months in advance—classes fill quickly and are limited in size.  It is unlikely there will be room in the class want if you wait until the month of the class you want to take. Courses fill up quickly and are limited to 16 students per class. We recommend registering well in advance of your perferred class date; we are unable to process registrations received less than two weeks prior to the class date you have chosen. We encourage you to send registration and payment as soon as possible, so you will have the maximum time to prepare for the course.
