- The Research Division Meeting is held every four months; fellows provide updates on their research to the entire division. This meeting provides fellows with an opportunity to present their research and receive constructive feedback from attendings and mentors outside of their specific labs.
Research Conferences:
- Human Investigations Program This NIH-supported two-year course is comprised of a number of modules that cover clinical research design (16 weeks), biostatistics (12 weeks), molecular biology (8 weeks), protection of human subjects (4 weeks), scientific writing and data presentation (4 weeks), and an evidence-based medicine seminar (8 weeks)
- Informatics course This course is designed to introduce fellows to bioinformatics Fellows will learn how to use the computer and Internet databases to aid their research projects
