Family Medicine / Preventive Medicine

Where are they now . . . ?

Elizabeth Clark - went on to do a Family Medicine research fellowship, is now a faculty member (clinical and research) at University of Iowa Dept. of FM

Justin Denny - County Health Officer, Preventive Medicine and Combined FP/PHPM Residency Director (OHSU), local health officer and clinic work (OHSU)

Anna Jimenez - Family Medicine physician in a Local Migrant Health Center focusing on nutrition and diabetes in Mexican immigrant population

Ariel Smits – Completed a Family Medicine research fellowship, now faculty member at OHSU FM (half clinical, half research)

Bruin Rugge - Medical Director of OHSU FM Rural Health Clinic in Scappoose

Cliff Coleman - OHSU Faculty - working at OHSU FM Richmond clinic (FQHC look-alike); has some time devoted to research

Jessica VanArsdale – Family Medicine and Director of Research in Arcata, Northern California

Michelle Adler - OHSU Family Medicine faculty working at Clackamas County Community-Migrant Health Center (FQHC)

Abbas Hyderi - Faculty at University of Illinois at Chicago Dept. of Family Medicine. Focus is on HIV prevention and treatment

Amanda Risser – Community Family Physician at Virginia Garcia in Oregon, a migrant health clinic with a focus on meeting minority health needs.

Jennifer Vines – Completing a Preventive Medicine fellowship in International Health, working with an NGO in Vietnam and Cambodia and working to create future such opportunities for Preventive Medicine Residents.
